YR 12 SCHOOL VCAL CAPTAINS

Jackson SCAIFE and Caterina D’Angelo

I would like to introduce you to Caterina D’Angelo and Jackson Scaife our VCAL captains this year. Both students have enthusiastically jumped into their roles as leaders and role models, as they continuously advocate and promote VCAL every chance they get. Caterina and Jackson have achieved so much this year already with the designing of new VCAL polo tops, running the VCAL café for special events, working closely with our facilities team to re-decorate and re-vamp the VCAL classrooms and enhancing the VCAL hub exterior with outdoor shading and a pergola….and it is only May!

May I introduce, Jackson and Cathy!

Jackson: My VET is through my work and is a CERT 3/III in Retail. My goal as a VCAL captain is to give VCAL its own identity and leave a memorable legacy. My goal for the future is to continue to progress my company helping young people around the world. What inspires me is seeing the rewards and benefits I can leave behind from my hard work here at KDC and beyond.

Caterina: Hello I’m Caterina De Angelo. I completed my Salon Assistant VET last year and cannot wait to start working as a hairdresser after Year 12 . My goal is to open a salon and earn money that I can save for my future. I am so excited that I get to be VCAL captain this year. I hope to make a change about what people think VCAL is all about.
