From the Principal

Welcome to Term 2

It has been a smooth start to the term and we have been very fortunate that our Covid numbers continue to be low and we are able to continue with our learning programs.

We would like to say a big welcome back to Miss Coe who has been on leave for term 1 and the first two weeks of term 2. Miss Amy had stepped up to Acting Deputy in Miss Coe's absence and I would like to acknowledge what a fantastic job she did.

At the end of term 1 Miss Reeves won a leadership position as Technologies Coordinator at Parafield Gardens. All the staff at PHS would like to congratulate Miss Reeves and wish her well in her new role. Unfortunately we will be unable to offer Wood Tech until we are able to find a replacement for Miss Reeves which will likely be 2023.

For part of this term I will be heading back to the UK for some Long Service Leave (From Week 5), to attend a wedding and some milestone birthdays with my family. I am looking forward to the trip and will be returning Monday Week 10. We are in the process of finding a suitable replacement for the five weeks and I should be in a position to announce this near the end of next week. I will put a post on facebook and send an email once the outcome is known.
