What have we been up to?

At After School Care during the last few weeks, building cubbies has been a favourite. In both small and large groups, children have been working hard to ensure they are being inclusive, cooperative and persistent when faced with challenges both socially and with the build.

At Before School Care, the OSHC-ies have been eagerly participating in Lego Master Building Challenges. The children have assigned their own judges, competitors and challenges. Children are developing their resilience, as well as thinking outside the box to design winning creations.

Our Kindergarten children are enjoying getting outside in all weather conditions! Building rivers in the sandpit was a popular experience, as children worked together to dig the channel and carry water from the pump to the sandpit. Communication was key here, as we worked out what roles everyone would take on, and how the project was going to progress.

Student Led Conference Pupil Free Day

On the 17th of September, the school have a pupil free day due to Student Led Conferences. OSHC will be offering a full day of care from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm at a cost of $60.00 per child per day (rebates available). This cost includes activities, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

To secure your place, please complete and return the booking form to the front office by Thursday 12th September. Confirmations of bookings will be sent via email on September 13th.

Please note that we will need a minimum of 3 children booked for the day to be viable and go ahead.

Additionally, your child/ren must have an up to date 2019 enrolment pack with all relevant documents and medicine provided for your child to attend.

Spring Holiday Program

Our Spring Holiday Program will be operating from Monday 23rd September – Friday October 4th. We will be closed on the 27th of September due to the public holiday. We will be open from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm each day at a cost of $60.00 per child per day (rebates available). This cost includes activities, excursions, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

To secure your place, please complete and return the booking form to the front office by Monday September 16th. Forms are available from OSHC or the front office. Confirmations of bookings and additional information will be sent via email on Wednesday 18th September in the final week of school.

A program with intended activities will be released soon.
