BUFTA 2021 open for film submissions until 13 September 

Entries to the 2021 Bond University Film and Television Awards (BUFTA) are now open for Year 11 or 12 students. These awards provide the opportunity for budding filmmakers to win a full scholarship to study the Bachelor of Film and Television at Bond University in Queensland.

REMINDER: Applications for the 2022 ADF GAP Year are open

An ADF Gap Year is a unique opportunity for students to experience life in the Navy, Army or Air Force, without needing to make a long-term commitment. The valuable work and life lessons gained during an ADF GAP Year are transferable and can give students confidence in their future career paths. They can get real engineering experience, discover their leadership potential as an officer, or find passion in an administration role. While ADF Gap Year roles initially involve only a 12-month commitment, it could be the beginning of a long and stable career in the ADF. Students who take part in the ADF Gap Year program:

  • Gain valuable skills and work experience 
  • Enjoy a great salary package plus free healthcare 
  • Live a varied, active and healthy lifestyle 
  • Make friends with like-minded people

Charles Sturt Advantage Early Offer Program Info Session – 18 May 2021 at 6:45pm

Charles Sturt University’s early offer program is now open for applications from Year 12 students. CSU will be looking at Year 11 results and searching for people with soft skills. This year there are two rounds that students can apply for in May and July. Students wanting to study at CSU are encouraged to view the list of courses taking part in the Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program and join CSU’s online information session on 18 May.

ANU Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences (HASS) & Languages 2021 virtual event 

Recordings from the 2021 Australian National University (ANU) HASS & Languages Showcase are now available to watch and you can view all discipline related sessions here. These sessions provide an entertaining overview of what you can study at ANU and the sheer breadth of academics and disciplines students have access to upon choosing ANU. 

 

Humanities, arts and social sciences is diverse, touching on every aspect of daily life, and includes politics, international relations and history, to development, creative arts and languages, to name just a few. The single biggest degree in these fields is the ANU Bachelor of Arts, offering majors in over 50 different areas.
