PAN AMERICAN MACCABI GAMES!

The Pan American Maccabi Games are held every four years in one of the Latin America countries. This year they were in South America and Adam Hatchuel (Year 10) was selected as part of the Junior Basketball team which comprised Under 16 Boys from Sydney and Melbourne.

After playing five games in their pool, they had won three games and then had the opportunity to play off for the Bronze medal against Brazil. They won 66 - 60.

What a wonderful experience!

VICTORIAN JUNIOR SQUASH TITLES!

Congratulations to Connor Hayes (Year 9) and Darcy Hayes (Year 7) who recently competed in the State Squash Titles in their respective age groups. They each were Runner-Up in their division and now have been selected to represent Victoria in the Australia Squash Championships in Devonport.

We wish you both all the best for the upcoming Championship!

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Yana Popov (Year 7), who is an artistic roller figure skater, competed in the Victorian State Championships in May this year and won a gold medal in each of her disciplines.

She then travelled to Queensland in July holidays to represent Victoria in the National Championships where she received a gold and a silver medal.

Congratulations Yana on this wonderful achievement and we wish you continued success!
