AIC Swimming

COORDINATOR

The 2021 AIC Swimming Season has well and truly begun at the pool with close to 200 boys attending training already. We have welcomed over 50 new Year 5 and 7 boys to the program ahead of their start at Marist in 2021.

Swimming training is open to any Marist boys who want to swim competitively or who simply want to improve their stroke and/or fitness. Any current student who wishes to join the program can simply come down to the pool during one of the training sessions for his group (either the Years5 & 6 Training Squad or the Years 7 – 12 Training Squad) and chat with one of the coaches about joining. A training schedule for Term 4 appears below.

Our annual fundraiser, the Mango Drive, is up and running at present so if you love this tropical fruit and would like to start the Christmas holidays with a tray of 14 – 16 juicy Kensington Pride mangoes, then go to the Monitor (tuckshop) tile on the school portal and place your order. Each tray of mangoes is just $30 and orders close on 29th October. Delivery of the mangoes is in the final week of the term – just in time for the holidays.

Please direct any enquiries about AIC Swimming to Cath Geraghty at geraghtyc@marash.qld.edu.au.  Enquiries regarding MCA Swimming Club can be emailed to swim@marash.qld.edu.au
