Next Monday (13th March) is a public holiday to celebrate Labour Day - the school is not open on Monday.

NAPLAN 2023

NAPLAN will be held in March for the first time this year (rather than May).  Our Year 3 and Year 5 students will be completing the tests on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week (15th, 16th and 17th March).

Students will complete four assessments - Writing, Reading, Language Conventions and Numeracy.  The students in Year 3 will complete their Writing assessment on paper, all other tests for both Year 3 and Year 5 will be completed online.

Parents will receive individual student reports  later in the year.

Parent Teacher Conferences

The Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday 29th March in the afternoon and evening (exact times will be advised).  These will be held face to face.  Parents will be asked to sign up for their appointments through COMPASS.

End of Term

The last day of Term One is Thursday 6th April. Students will be dismissed at 2:30pm.

Beginning of Term 2

School resumes on Wednesday 26th April (Monday 24th April is a Curriculum Day and Tuesday 25th April is ANZAC Day).

Prep Ice Breaker - Thank You

It is lovely each year to welcome new families to our school community.  Thank you to the Parents’ Association for organising the Prep Ice Breaker again this year.  We look forward to working with our new families for many years to come.

Traffic Safety

Parents are reminded that there are strict parking restrictions around the school and these will be enforced by Stonnington Council.  It is suggested that parents walk to and from school with their children or park a little further away and walk down to the school, this will help to reduce the congestion around the school.

The two ’Kiss and Go’ areas are still in place along Tooronga Road.  Parents are reminded that they cannot leave their car if they pull up in these areas.  If you wish to walk your child to the school gate or classroom, please do not use the ‘Kiss and Go’ areas.

Whilst we understand these arrangements are not always convenient, we thank you for your support and cooperation with this.

Students Arriving Late

Parents are reminded that if their child arrives to school after 9.05 that they must be signed in at the office.

Parents cannot drop their children off at the gate, they must accompany them into the office to sign them in - our children are too young to sign themselves in.

We acknowledge that this may be inconvenient for some families, however it is for the safety of the children that we require the parent to accompany them into school.
