Altona Historian Presentation

The Year 3s and 4s were very lucky to have had a visit from guest speaker, Maureen Lane. Maureen has lived in Altona for many years, she is a retired teacher, a published author, and an expert in our local Altona history. Maureen talked to the students about our local community in the past and showed us some amazing photos of what Altona used to look like, as well as some interesting artifacts from many years ago. The students were very engaged and loved hearing the stories and seeing how our community has changed over time.

Primary Father's Day Stall Donations

Show your 'sole' support, donate a pair (of socks)!

Have you been looking for a way to support the school's fundraising efforts? We'd love some socks! Big W has bright, fun, and funky 'Brilliant Basic Men's Novelty Socks' on special at the moment; any 5 pairs for $12. 

We intend to sell these at the upcoming Father's Day Stall for $3 each. It's a win-win - Dad could get some funky new socks (amongst the other amazing things we'll have at the Stall), and the school will benefit from the funds raised. If you could purchase a pair, or 5, or 10, or even more, they will be gratefully received at the office.

Westgate Indoor Sports School Fun Days Bookings

Westgate Indoor Sports are now accepting bookings for school fun days for the remainder of 2023. The school fun days are action-packed; fun-filled days with children getting the chance to play a variety of different sports. Please see our attached flyer.

2024 Prep Enrolments

 Altona College is currently taking 2024 Prep Enrolments. If your enrolled child has a sibling that is entering Prep next year please complete and submit the enrolment application form found on the college website by next Friday 28th July. 

Alternatively, drop into the administration office and collect one.
