Message from the Principal
Term 4 begins
We have been extraordinarily busy so far this term - starting with the return of the Annual Twilight Market, the formal Year 12 Graduation event and associated celebrations, the School Review, and the commencement of the VCE examination period.
Twilight Market
Thank you to the many community members who attended the Twilight Market, proving that inclement weather is no deterrent to such a well-loved event! The SRC students, assisted by staff, were very happy with the event management and community participation, and Parents' Association You can read more about the market in this issue of the Brunswick Star.
Matilda Jr.
Our junior performing arts students have been hard at work throughout Term 3 and 4 in preparation to stage Matilda Jr.
This is a fabulously entertaining show, and I am encouraged by the community's quick response to show their support for the company's efforts. Tickets sold out in days!
Ably led by staff, Emily Palekis, Timothy Roach, Jen Simkus and Lindsay Owen, there is no doubt that students will delight and surprise the audiences with their talents so we are really forward to seeing the show!
Graduation Event
Our formal Graduation Event was held at Moonee Valley Celebrity Room earlier in the term.
The event was very well attended by families and staff. It was pleasing to have the opportunity to speak with so many from our community, and to see the students enjoy the evening so much.
Many thanks to Oki Gardner (Senior School Leader) who coordinated this event, along with other less formal celebrations. Read more about Graduation in this issue.
