Short Listed for the Top Designs Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum

I wish to congratulate Minuki Satharasinghe (OX7) for her outstanding work in Visual Communication Design this year. Minuki has been studying Visual Communication Design as one of her accelerated subjects in year 11. After many months of remote learning, personally ordering specialised materials on the internet, generating illustrations and architectural plans on the computer and laser printing and constructing her Architectural model, she has been able to produce a top-notch A+ folio that has been shortlisted for the VCAA Top Designs Exhibition.

This is a great achievement. It means that, of the three hundred plus students who sent their A+ folio application into VCAA, Munuki in one of about 80 students who has been asked to bring their folio and final presentations into VCAA in Coburg to be personally reviewed and assessed for entre into the exhibition in 2022.

We now waiting patiently, to hear if her work will to be one of only 20 Visual Communication Design folios to be displayed in the Top Designs Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. We wish her every success in this endeavour. Below are photographs of her beautiful folio.
