Team Sports Excursion - November 19 2021 

Last Friday the Year 10 students that elected Team Sports were lucky enough to reschedule their excursion to play Indoor Sports and go Ten pin bowling.

There was 75 students (3 classes this year) that spent the day playing Bubble Soccer, Hockey, Netball off the nets and Dodgeball at the Springvale Indoor Sports Centre.  

They enjoyed some lunch at the Fountain Gate food court and also tested their skills at Tunzafun games. 

Then they competed at Ten Pin Bowling at Narre Warren Oz TenPin. The individual bowling winners were Kiran Kleingeld and Cyrus Ting who scored 117 points, followed by Wageesha Hewaarachchi on 111 and then Ms Pumphrey and Thumith Jayasekara on a score of 99. 

The students competed in a round robin of Indoor sports and were presented medals for the best teamwork at the end of the day. Bubble Soccer was the highlight sport that students said tested their skills, fitness and was a lot of fun. 

The excursion was organised by Ms Pumphrey, Mr Haverfield and Ms Villers who were so pleased to see PE students back playing sport again and having lots of fun working together as strategic teams. Thanks to all of the students for their exceptional behaviour, participation and lovely manners that were noted everywhere that we went.
