Facilities News

While the north westerly winds were bad this year, they are nearly over, which brings us back into the easterly patterns again. Moorings need to be in good condition to protect boats and pens in all winds.

I ask that all pen holders please take a serious look at mooring ropes, chains, shackles and especially mooring bolts and rings. Please attend to these issues by the end of September.

The rings are supplied by the club, however, you need to have them fitted. If you can’t manage this and need someone to do it for you, we have a person that can manage this for a fee. Just contact the me on 0428 413 122.

Other jobs that we need someone’s help with are:

  • A backhoe or excavator to help pull displaced rocks on the sea walls
  • Painters to do more window painting
  • Working party to establish a plan for funding the replacement and management of a new  future marina structure; and
  • Future maintenance plans for the clubhouse.

If you have any queries or wishlist items, please contact the facilities team on 0428 413 122.
