Parents & Friends

Dear Families,
Father's Day is fast approaching, the P&F committee along with our amazing teachers will ensure the kids have an opportunity to buy gifts at a modified stall in the Central Learning Street on Wednesday 1st September.
So, with that in mind we are seeking donations for the stall.
Due to restrictions on parents entering the school buildings gifts can be sent to school with children. Baskets will be in the foyer as usual for children to place the items in. Otherwise, a basket will be left outside the office door for items.
Thank you for supporting the stall.

Breakfast & Homework Club
Starting on the first Thursday in September we will commence a Breakfast/Homework Club. It will run from 8.15-8.45am. Kasey Cook has kindly offered to assist with the program. The School Breakfast Clubs program seeks to address the impact that disadvantage can have on education outcomes by offering free and healthy food for students. Research shows that a child's ability to concentrate in class, self-regulate and learn is negatively impacted if they are hungry. Depending on the popularity of the club we are seeking volunteers to help with the program. Volunteering at a School Breakfast Club is a rewarding way to play an active role in supporting your community and helping to ensure students can start their day with a healthy breakfast. School Breakfast Club Helpers assist with tasks such as setting up the breakfast area, preparing and serving breakfasts, and cleaning up and washing dishes. Social interaction with the students is an important part too and supports informal learning of social and life skills. All schools require volunteers to have a Working With Children Check. Please contact the school if you are interested.
