SSV STATE TRACK and FIELD Silver Medallists

On Monday the 30th of October, Truganina South Primary School had a number of students participate at the School Sports Victoria State Track and Field Championships at Lakeside Stadium.

The best Track and Field students from all over Victoria came together on this one day. It is an amazing achievement to qualify to compete at state level but this wasn’t enough for 4 of our students who to finish in 2nd Place and won themselves a silver medal.

• Congratulations to Manal Mubiene, Amy de Wit, Bella Fryer and Rose Deng who came 2nd in the 11yo Girls 4x100m.
• Congratulations again to Amy de Wit who also placed 2nd in the High Jump.

An extra special mention also goes to Amy who also qualified to join TEAM Vic at the School Sports Australia Pacific School Games which will be held in Adelaide during the month of December. Truganina South Primary School are right behind you and wish you all the best. Congratulations on this spectacular achievement.

P – 2 Mini Athletics Carnival Thursday 16th November

All P – 2 children will be involved in the Mini Athletics carnival on Thursday 16th November from 9am – 1:15pm.  This carnival is being held on the school oval, gym and basketball courts.  Parents and carers are encouraged to come along and cheer on children and their houses.  Children can come dressed in their house colours.  Children need to wear a hat and running shoes and bring a water bottle!  Children still need their snack and lunch.
