LITERACY NEWS - STORY DOGS

It’s great to have Story Dogs at St Brigid’s again this year.  Welcome back to Terry and Nell who are working with Yr 1/2 students.

Story Dogs is a fantastic program that helps students grow in confidence with their reading by reading to a dog and their owner.    The accepting, loving nature of dogs gives this program its magic and helps children relax, open up, try harder and have fun while reading to a friendly, calm dog. Nell loves getting a smacko from Tracey before she goes home as well!

News from the Library - Parent Helpers Wanted -Covering Library Books

We would love to have some help from parents to cover library books. This is a job you can take home and do maybe in front of the TV. If you need to have a lesson in book covering Glenn and I are very happy to show you.   Please see Glenn or I for a take home a book covering pack.
