Special Visit

On Wednesday 23rd October we had the privilege to welcome two Divine Word Missionaries: Marius from Madagascar and Clement from Ghana. They spoke to students in Years Three - Six  about the meaning of 'mission' and how it should lead to action. Showing love to one another and sharing what we have is mission. Through Baptism we are sent fourth to let our actions follow. Students discovered that all of us can be  missionaries by the way we treat one another.  It is about how we treat other people to show the love of God to people we meet. Clement also shared his drumming expertise. Our students were impressed by their words and had the opportunity to better understand the role of missionaries.

Important Date:

Confirmation 2020 will be held on Sunday 9th August at 10:30am mass.

Walk To School Month

October is walk to school month.

Lets get walking!

Next week, on the 29th of October, the school leaders will be hosting a lapathon where all the students will walk laps to see if they can get the most laps out of their class. As the students are walking the laps, Tyson, Makayla, Jasmine, Anni, Sylvie and Andrew  will be counting the laps of our chosen grades. If a student were to get the most laps in their class they will get a small prize. After the event there will be fruit platters served courtesy of the Darebin Council. Each level will also walk to Ray Bramham Gardens  on their chosen day to have lunch so all children can join in the fun.
