Reconciliation Commitment Masses

Over the weekend, all students making their Reconciliation attended a commitment mass at OLSH Randwick. Each mass was a beautiful celebration of the students, their families and the sacramental program. Please keep these students in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare to make their First Reconciliation. 

Shrove Tuesday

This week we celebrated Shrove Tuesday! The Faith and Justice captains thought it would be a great idea to kickstart our Caritas Australia fundraising by participating in the Pancake eating tradition. From this we were able to raise $140 for those in need! Thank you to all the teachers and students for their support.  

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. As a school, we participated in a service led by Fr Pat and were reminded that this is a time to reconnect with God. All students received ashes on their forehead, which remind us of Jesus death, resurrection and our own repentance for our sins.
