Year 3

Year 3 have been working really hard on applying feedback to improve their writing. In

 particular, students have been focusing on writing a sizzling start to hook their reader in! Year 3 have explored a range of ways to do this including using onomatopoeia, dialogue, rhetorical questions and description through the “show don’t tell strategy”. Have a read of some of our amazing sizzling starts! 

 

Goosebumps were running down my arms and the snow was twinkling down my face. It was very cold! My teeth were chattering and my body was shaking!

It is outrageously obvious that children should not have to wear school uniforms. Can you imagine wearing the same thing everyday?

It is obvious that children should not wear a uniform because it is too expensive. Who would want to buy five uniforms just to use two? What a waste!
