Dear Parents

It has been a very busy fortnight in Sport at SFX! A big congratulations to our Stage 3 students who participated in the Conference 2 Soccer Trials – Elyse Kritzfeld (6W), Sophia Rabbitte (6W) and Aria Saladino (6G). We also congratulate our Stage 3 boys who went to represent SFX at the Sydney Trials – Thomas Russo (6W), Cian Cotter (6W) and Cameron Neylan (6W). We are incredibly proud of all the students efforts and achievements!

Cross Country

We have some exciting in-school sporting opportunities coming up. Our Annual School Cross Country will be held next Wednesday 25th March at Peace Park, with all students required to arrive by 8:00am (please refer to Compass for further details). Distances are as follows: U8/U9/U10 – 2km and U11/U12 – 3km.

Please also save the date for our K–2 Cross Country on Tuesday 31st March. This event is for K- 2 students who are not competing in the competitive Cross Country and will take place on the primary playground running track before school at 8:15am.

Annual Athletics Carnival

Looking ahead, our Annual Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 6th May. We encourage all families to mark this date in their calendars.

Sydney FC

We are also excited to share some wonderful opportunities through Sydney Catholic Schools. In partnership with Sydney FC, families are invited to attend an A-League match at Allianz Stadium on Saturday 18th April 2026. Students can take part in a special Pre-Match Stadium Lap, walking around the field before the game. Participants will receive one complimentary ticket and should wear their school sports uniform (with the option to change into Sydney FC gear afterwards).
