Morialta Partnership Year 6 Leaders Day

On Thursday, 19th of March, fifteen of Magill’s exceptional school leaders travelled to Trinity Gardens School to meet with other Year 6 Leaders within the Morialta Partnership. The purpose of this trip was to give the leaders from Trinity Gardens, Vale Park, Stradbroke, and Magill School an opportunity to connect, get to know one another, and build familiarity so they can work together in the future.

The students participated in team building activities, in which they had to overcome a problem together. Following this, in their teams, they raced to complete a series of challenges inspired by the television series, The Amazing Race. 

“At the start of the day, I was really nervous because I didn’t know anyone. But by the end of the day I just walked up to someone from another school and started chatting.” - Liam - Year 6 Murray Leader

“Some of the challenges seemed really impossible, but once we worked as a team to solve them, they became so easy.” - Chloe - Year 6 Murray Leader

“Messing up the challenge once or twice helped to break the ice, when we were all feeling a bit shy.” - Cordelia -Year 6 Ferguson Leader.

Magill’s year six leaders look forward to future collaboration with fellow leaders from our partnership schools.
