Cross Country
What a spectacular day for our first SMDP Cross Country Carnival! The weather played its part, but it was the energy and determination of our students that truly stole the show. The competition was fierce, with every student contributing to house points by just participating. After an afternoon of incredible endurance and grit, here is how the houses stacked up:
1st - Red house: 430 points
2nd - Yellow house: 340 points
3rd - Blue house: 250 points
4th - Green house: 220 points
A massive congratulations to the Red House! Their consistent performance across all age groups secured them the top spot on the podium.
While winning the shield is a team effort, we were thrilled to recognize our individual high-achievers. Ribbons were awarded to students placing 1st through 6th in every event.
Beyond the medals and points, the true highlight was the high spirits on display. Seeing students from different houses cheering for one another and walking the final stretch with friends who needed a boost reminded us all what our school community is about.
A huge thank you to the staff, and parent volunteers for helping with the event.
