OASIS - Matt Butcher 

Students will investigate the physical conditions of a habitat and analyse how the growth and survival of living things is affected by changing physical conditions. 

Art - Carmel Fitzgerald 

Year Six students will be describing and identifying how ideas are expressed in artworks from different contemporary and historical contexts. They will increase their awareness of foreground, middle ground and background, developing their perspective. 

Music – Tania Rusbridge 

Students will learn about music structure by exploring electronic music formats such as Chrome Music Lab. They will recreate songs they know, deconstructing songs to understand musical layers, as well as creating their own songs.  

Science - Emma Jensen 

Students will define and differentiate the difference between soluble and insoluble substances. Throughout investigations and experiments students will explore the solubility of a substance and determine whether if it is possible to recover the soluble and/or insoluble materials.

PE - Danielle Coates & Class Teachers 

Our initial focus will be on physical activities designed to enhance and measure fitness. Students will then participate in court games, exploring team sports such as Tchoukball and European Handball. The term will conclude with preparations for the school athletics sports in early Term 3.
