Principal's Message

Dear families and friends,

This week has been filled with celebration and reflection at St Mary’s.

On Monday, our Prep students proudly celebrated their 100 Days of School. It was wonderful to see the excitement and joy as they marked this significant milestone, celebrating 100 days of learning, growth, courage, and new experiences. We are so proud of all they have achieved in such a short time. We counted to 100 many times and enjoyed homemade pizzas to celebrate.

Today, we celebrated St Mary MacKillop Feast Day, taking time to reflect on St Mary MacKillop’s unwavering commitment to education and her belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn and flourish. Her message of hope, resilience, and service continues to inspire our learning community as we strive to nurture the potential of every child.

Thank you to our staff, students, and families for making these celebrations so special.

A reminder to keep an eye on emails and important dates:

We have a school closure day coming up - focused on our story at St Mary’s and connection to our community.

We have a whole-school excursion planned for Science Week, which we are very much looking forward to.

Book Week is also just around the corner, with the Book Fair being set up in the library. We encourage students and families to come along and enjoy the wonderful range of books on offer.

Junior Chef has now begun at Sacred Heart College, Kyneton. We wish Barb and the students all the very best as they take part in their cooking experience. We know they have been practising and are well prepared. Now it’s time to enjoy the moment and have fun!

Have a great weekend,

Gemma
