Learning Conversations

Our Semester 1 Learning Conversations will be held on Thursday, 25th June.

These conversations are a chance for students, families and teachers to sit together and talk about how the year is going so far. Teachers will share how students are progressing with their learning, what they are doing well, and what the next steps are for the rest of the year.

Students are part of the conversation so they can talk about their own learning too. It is helpful for them to hear what they are doing well, ask questions, and understand what they are working on next.

On this day, students attend school only for their Learning Conversation with their parent/carer and classroom teacher. Booking information will be sent to families through Compass.

Semester 1 Reports will be released via Compass on Wednesday, 24th June.

Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS)

Over the past week, our Grade 4, 5 and 6 students have completed the Attitudes to School Survey.

This survey gives students the chance to share how they feel about school, including their learning, friendships, sense of safety, connection to teachers and overall experience at school. The responses are confidential and help us understand what is working well, as well as areas we can keep improving.

We were really pleased with the way students approached the survey. They took their time, thought carefully about their responses, and showed maturity in giving honest feedback.

Once the results are available, staff will spend time looking closely at the information and using it to help guide our planning. Student voice is an important part of making school a positive place to learn and belong.

You want a pizza me?

A big thank you to everyone who supported our Pizza Day today. It was great to see the excitement across the school, and the day ran really smoothly.

A special thank you to the wonderful parents who helped sort and distribute the pizza boxes. There were plenty of slices to go around, and we really appreciated the extra hands.
