Leading the Way: Our 2026 Captains

Our 2026 School Captains have made an impressive start to the year, working proactively to support and represent the senior cohort. From securing a dedicated study space for their Year 12 peers to leading the organisation of major events such as Coburg’s Got Talent, they have been driving meaningful initiatives behind the scenes. Their leadership is focused on connection, celebrating milestones and ensuring the graduating class has a memorable and well-supported final year at CHS.

Now, we’ll let them introduce themselves in their own words.

Sophie Ferguson - School Council Coordinator

Hi everyone, I’m Sophie, one of your School Captains for 2026 which is very exciting! I am passionate about learning how the world works, how that impacts people, and finding out ways we can make change. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing friends, watching movies, reading books, baking and exploring new places. I can’t wait to hear all your ideas and suggestions about how you would like the school to work better for you, so please feel free to come up and have a chat to me whenever you like!

Evie Fuggle - Community Engagement Coordinator

Hi Everyone, my name is Evie and I’m excited to be a part of your School Captain team for 2026! 

Leadership to me means hearing your ideas and feelings so never feel shy to reach out and share your thoughts or feedback. During the year I love to spend my spare time with my friends hanging out or studying some of my favourite subjects such as Biology and Psych. Outside of school some of my hobbies include surf lifesaving, walking with my dog Scout and painting.

Astrid Raab - Student Initiatives Coordinator

Hi everyone, I’m Astrid and I’m one of your school Captain’s for 2026. I’m someone who’s passionate about politics and history and loves watching movies and going hiking with my friends. As your school captain, I’m excited to have the opportunity to help improve our school and bring our community closer together. I’m looking forward to working with all of you to make this year fun and memorable.

Lucas Warrick - Peer Learning Coordinator

Hi, I’m Lucas Warrick, and I’m pumped to be one of the school captains this year! I’m dedicated to sport and maths and aim to continue both in my future. I play cricket, soccer, and volleyball, but I have a general love for every kind of sport. This school has so much to offer and the teachers and students bring so much life to it. As school captain, I want to help bring out the best parts of Coburg High School and help create an environment where everyone is happy and excited to come to school.
