Principal's News

Dear Families,

Our students have continued to settle in beautifully to the 2026 school year. They really are amazing! Thank you for supporting your children, they bring such positive energy to school each day.

Over the past two weeks, all 19 classes across the school have been working hard to establish clear norms and expectations that support a positive and productive learning environment. During this time, teachers have explicitly taught the behaviours that help classrooms run smoothly so that teachers can teach and students can learn.

Students have been guided through what these expectations look like in practice and have been positively acknowledged and reinforced for demonstrating them. This shared understanding helps create calm, predictable and respectful classrooms where everyone feels safe and supported.

By taking the time to explicitly teach and reinforce these expectations early in the year, we are setting all students up for a successful year of learning, growth and wellbeing — enabling them to be the very best versions of themselves.

Kind regards,

Karl Dwyer

Principal

Attention Families,

We wish to inform our school community that there have been confirmed cases of whooping cough (pertussis) within our student body.

Whooping cough is a contagious respiratory illness. Symptoms may include a persistent cough, runny nose, fever, and fatigue. In some cases, the cough can be severe or prolonged.

We ask families to please:

  • Monitor children for symptoms
  • Keep unwell children at home
  • Seek medical advice if whooping cough is suspected
  • Ensure immunisations are up to date (you may leave this one out)

The school is following public health advice and will continue to monitor the situation closely. If further action is required, we will provide updated information.

Thank you for your support in helping keep our community safe and well.

IMPORTANT

Please ensure that all students Medical Profile and Permissions (9 in total) have been completed in PAM. These are found under the Profile menu - Medical and Connect.

Should you be having issues with accessing PAM, please contact the school office.
