Grade 6 Confirmation Reflection Day

On Monday, our Grade 6 students had a deeply meaningful experience during their Confirmation Reflection Day at the Don Bosco Retreat Center in Lysterfield. We were joined by our friends from Sacred Heart Primary School, creating a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect and share this special journey together.

Throughout the day, we delved into the significance of Confirmation, focusing on the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit. Our students engaged in thoughtful discussions and activities that helped them understand how these spiritual gifts can guide them in their daily lives. The highlight for many was receiving and reading heartfelt letters written by their parents. These letters, filled with love and encouragement, will undoubtedly become cherished keepsakes for our students as they continue on their faith journey.

An artistic highlight of the day was the creation of beautiful poems. Our students expressed their thoughts and feelings about Confirmation, the Holy Spirit and their personal experiences. We are excited to share some of these poems with you in this newsletter, as they reflect the deep spiritual growth and understanding our students have gained.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 6 students for their participation and engagement during this reflection day. It was a day filled with learning, connection, and spiritual growth and we look forward to seeing how these experiences will continue to shape their journey in faith.
