Weeks 7 & 8 in the Kitchen                                    Garden.

A big Autumn Hi from Elsa.

Elsa our newer big hen is loving life at St.As

Her favourite thing is sitting with our students during Garden Club, she particularly likes helping herself to leftovers especially vegemite sandwiches.

CITRUS, CITRUS, CITRUS. 

Tis the time for tangy citrus and we have been sampling them all from our garden, mandarins, oranges, lemons and lemonade lemons.

Both sour and sweet tastes have been refreshing eaten straight from the tree or in our kitchen recipes.

Native bee hotel......

We have finished off making our bee hotels with our garden full of amazing and inviting homes for our native bees and bugs.

BUSH TUCKER GARDEN.........

We enjoyed planting up our Bush tucker garden with great edible plants, warrigal greens, salt bush and yam daisy and shared some warm Lemon Myrtle Tea.

We are also looking for parent helpers to assist in kitchen or garden.  Parents from prep to 4s are happy to contact us to assist.
