ThinkUKnow Program Empowers Year 7 Students with Cyber Safety Skills

This term, all Year 7 students at Greater Shepparton Secondary College had the opportunity to participate in the ThinkUKnow cyber safety program, presented by Dean Reynolds and Gerry Del Bono from the Australian Federal Police.

ThinkUKnow is a nationally recognised, evidence-based program that educates young people about staying safe online. The sessions covered a range of important topics including safe social media use, respectful online behaviour, protecting personal information, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Dean and Gerry shared real-life examples and practical tips, helping students better understand the challenges and risks they may face online and how to respond with confidence. We're grateful for their engaging and informative delivery and for empowering our students to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
