Aberfoyle Park High School's annual Sports Day will be held on Friday, 13 March. This much-anticipated event is a highlight of our school calendar, bringing our entire community together in a celebration of sport, teamwork and school spirit.

Nominations will open early March for:

  • 800m
  • Long Jump
  • Triple Jump
  • Shot Put

For all other events, just arrive on the oval at the sport location just before the starting

time, no nomination needed

Students will compete as members of our four houses

  • Karla (Red) – representing fire
  • Tirntu (Yellow) – representing the sun
  • Yarta (Green) – representing the earth
  • Yarlu (Blue) – representing the sea

Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to participate in a range of athletic and sporting events, with every effort and achievement earning points for their house.

It is important to remember that points are not only awarded for winning events, but also for demonstrating excellent sportsmanship, enthusiastic participation, teamwork and upholding our school values.

The performance and conduct of each house will contribute towards the final tally, with the ultimate aim of securing the coveted House Trophy at the end of the year.

We encourage all students to get involved, do their best and support their house with pride.

Families are most welcome to join us on the day to cheer on our students and celebrate their contributions. We look forward to a fantastic day filled with energy, encouragement, and friendly competition.
