Disney High School Musical - On Stage!

Killester College has a proud tradition of musical productions.  Many of our Alumni will remember our humble beginnings over 20 years ago when we launched Aladdin in the old Kennedy Hall.  Since then we have gone from strength to strength, moving to state of the art theatres and forming exciting sponsor partnerships and relationships with a range of professional musicians, costume designers and theatre technicians.

At the heart of all our productions is the fantastic effort of our cast and crew who give up countless hours to perfect their art and produce musicals of outstanding quality.  They are proudly supported by staff who work tirelessly to inspire and nurture the creative talents of our student performers.

2025 is no exception, with our latest school production DISNEY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL - ON STAGE! Opening at the Drum Theatre on Thursday 11th August at 7pm and running until Sat 16th, this promises to be a fabulous celebration of Killester talent.  "High School Musical on Stage!" is a theatrical adaptation of the popular Disney Channel movie, featuring the story of Troy and Gabriella as they navigate high school, first love, and the pressures of social cliques. The musical centers around their decision to audition for the school show, which challenges the established social order and forces the characters to confront issues of friendship, loyalty, and self-discovery.

We would love to see as many Alumni in our audience as possible because , “we’re all in this together” and we want to continue to foster the wonderful tradition of musical theatre at Killester College.
