From The REC

Loving God,
As we begin Term 4, we thank You for the gift of a new term and the opportunities it brings. Guide our students, teachers and families with Your wisdom, kindness and love. Help us to learn with curiosity, work together with patience and treat one another with respect and compassion.
May we continue to grow in faith, share our gifts and be a sign of Your love to others each day.
Bless our school community with a happy, safe and successful term.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Crazy Hair & Silly Sock Day
This Socktober, we are helping Catholic Mission raise awareness and funds for communities in Malawi, to help ensure children have access to food and education, giving them the chance to build a brighter future.
The Angelus
At our school, we cherish the moments where we can pause as a community to connect with God and reflect on our faith. Prayer occurs in our school everyday. One of these special traditions is the praying of the Angelus. Traditionally prayed at noon, the Angelus is a beautiful, centuries old Catholic prayer that commemorates the Incarnation, the moment God became man in Jesus Christ through Mary's "yes." As a school we will be praying the Angelus. In the midst of our busy school day, our students and staff will stop what they are doing, quiet their minds, and spend a few moments in shared prayer. It is a wonderful daily reminder for all about God’s constant presence in our lives, teaching the value of mindfulness, gratitude, and daily reflection.
