5/6 Sport at Loreto
Ms Jenny
This term, Year 5 and 6 girls were invited to participate in an afternoon of sports hosted by Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak.
Rather than competing against one another, students from both schools were placed in mixed teams to play a variety of sports, including netball, capture the flag and volleyball. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to enjoy the facilities at Loreto, meet new friends, and further develop their sporting skills in a fun and inclusive environment.
Abuk M – I enjoyed having the opportunity to play different games.
Maya E– I liked how the Loreto girls were very welcoming. I have never played netball before and they helped me to play.
Shanaya – I liked that it was a school that only had girl students.
Angelina- I wasn’t looking forward to playing netball because I thought I’d be bad at netball, but they supported me throughout the games.
Jasia- I liked when we had afternoon tea together. We sat next to the Loreto girls and they were very welcoming. They made me laugh a lot.
Georgia – I enjoyed the sports that we played and that everyone got to have a go.
Khanh Ha- I liked the food. The chocolate muffins were my favourite.
Louiza – I liked getting to know the Loreto girls. They were very nice. I also liked playing netball with them.
Year 5 and 6 students would like to thank the Loreto girls at Mandeville Hall Toorak for inviting us.
