Principal's News

Dear Famlies of Trinity Primary School,
On Monday and Tuesday of this week I attended the inaugural MACS Flourishing Learners conference with Mr Ru, Ms Kate and Ms Jenny. Whilst it can be difficult to be away from school, both these days provided us with extremely worthwhile experiences listening to both international and national keynote speakers. Over 1200 school leaders from both primary and secondary schools attended workshops over the two days.
MACS, is committed to helping growing minds discover futures filled with purpose. The MACS system-wide approach to teaching and learning is consistent, reliable and effective, informed by Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement. These evidence-based instruction models ensure best-practice in every MACS school to support teachers and improve student outcomes across learning, behaviour and holistic development. The Flourishing Learners Conference will provide MACS educators with interactive and in-depth exposure to the science behind explicit teaching, equipping them even further to achieve academic excellence for every student within their schools.
It is an exciting time for us at Trinity, as part of MACS, and its 2030 strategy Throughout the year as part of our whole school improvement guided by our annual action plan our teachers continue to refine and improve their practice which in turn leades to better learning outcomes for each of our children.
In Memory
As many of you may be aware, over the weekend we sadly heard about the senseless death of two young boys who have left behind heartbroken families. One of the boys was a past student of St Joseph's Primary School in collingwood and a number of our own families are relatives of him. During the week we stopped in silent prayer for the boys and their families and to ask for peace in our world in the hope that such tradgedies can be prevented. We continue to keep them inpur prayers. Ms Sally and a number of children planted a tree in memory of the children and as a sign of respect for their families.
Father's Day
What a fantastic morning we had last Friday with so many dads and other father figures attending our Father's Day Breakfast. It was great to see and hear the many conversations as parents connected with each other over a morning coffee. It was also wonderful to see the excitement of our children as they introduced their special guests and had time to play together before the morning bell. As an added treat all of our Prep parents were then invited tyo stay on to visit the prep classrooms as part of the Ftahre's Day experience. We actualy had a bit of difficulty having them leave as they seemed to be enjoying the experience so much. Thanks again to our brillaint prep team for agin providing this memoranble experience. Here is a little clip of the fun they all had.
Performing Arts Rogue Readers
A big congratulations to Ms Stanton and all of our students who presented at the recent Rogue Readers performances. Those lucky parents who were able to attend will have seen some great work, had a few laughs and really appreciated the importance of our Performing Arts Program. How lucky are we to have the amazing Ms Stanton. I'm already looking forward to 2026 School Concert Year.
JuiJitsu Holiday Program
Hi All, here is another great opportunity for Kids these coming holidays. A good way also to see how great it might be to take up JIUJITSU as a sport. Run by one of our parents Alys.
