Polding Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to Maeve Gordon, Sarah Crittenden, and Mason Walsh, who represented our school at the Polding Athletics Carnival in Newcastle last Friday. Each student delivered exceptional performances and thoroughly embraced the day’s challenges.

Mason and Sarah impressed with strong races, each achieving personal best times—a fantastic reward for their dedication and hard work.

Maeve had a standout day, placing 3rd overall in both the 100m and 200m sprints. Her incredible results have earned her a place on the Polding Athletics team, where she will compete at the NSW PSSA Carnival in Sydney next term.

Well done to all three athletes—we are incredibly proud of your achievements and effort!

Gala Day

Next week, a group of our students will proudly represent St Joey's at the Soccer and Netball Gala Day. This event is a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing against other schools in the diocese. We wish all our players the very best as they take to the field and court. We know they will represent our school community with pride and enthusiasm.
