Principals' Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the end of Term 3, it’s hard to believe just how quickly the weeks have flown by. It truly has been a busy, rewarding and memorable term filled with rich learning experiences, community celebrations and joyful moments across the school.

Throughout the past ten weeks, our students have continued to grow in confidence and achievement. From classroom milestones to sporting events, creative arts and special celebrations, it has been a term full of highlights. We are incredibly proud of the way our students have embraced every opportunity with a great deal of enthusiasm and commitment. Likewise, we acknowledge the dedication of our staff who continue to create a nurturing and dynamic learning environment for all. Your tireless efforts, creativity and passion for education have created an environment where every student is encouraged to thrive.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wider St Joseph’s School community families and carers whose ongoing involvement and encouragement play such a vital role in our shared success. It is this strong sense of partnership that helps make our school such a special place to learn and grow.

Kindergarten Transition Program

Last week we commenced our Kindergarten Transition Program as we warmly welcomed the pre-schoolers and their families to St Joseph’s School.  It was great to see how excited and settled they were to be at ‘big’ school. Transition provides an excellent opportunity for the children to become familiar with the school environment, staff and students. It also provides an opportunity for staff to get to know the children before they commence next year.

A special thank you to Miss George and Mrs Lockwood for coordinating the program and supporting the children in their transition to school.  A great start to Kindergarten is an important part of the educational journey. The Kindergarten Transition Program continues tomorrow and then runs into next term with the children attending full days.  We look forward to a long and happy association with the Kindergarten class of 2026 and their families.

Thank you Mr Crisafulli

Finally, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Michael Crisafulli for his dedicated efforts during his teaching practicum in Stage 3. Michael has been a wonderful addition to our school community, demonstrating enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine passion for teaching and learning..

We congratulate Michael on successfully completing his practicum and wish him every success as he embarks on his teaching career. We have no doubt that he will continue to inspire and support students wherever his vocation takes him. Thank you, Michael, for your hard work and contribution to our school. We look forward to hearing about your future endeavours.

As we wrap up another successful term, we hope the upcoming school holidays provide a chance for rest, relaxation and quality time with family and friends. We look forward to seeing everyone for the start Term 4 on Tuesday, 14th October, ready for a strong finish to the year.
