Resetting Whole School Expectations for Term 3:

The beginning of each term presents a fantastic opportunity for all teachers to reset classroom and whole-school expectations with their students. To start the term, teachers have reminded their students of the HHPS Expectations to set each student up for a successful Term 3.

Here is a reminder of the Harvest Home Primary School Expectations that you may like to discuss with your children.

Term 3 Goals

This week, the Year level goals for English, Maths and Specialist subjects will be shared with families. These goals are available to view on Compass, and a hard copy has also been placed in your child's Home Learning book. We encourage you to take some time to discuss these goals with your child and support them throughout the term. Sharing learning goals is one of the ways we are strengthening the partnership between home and school, working together to support every student's learning and success.

Spotlight on Performing Arts

Throughout Term 3, students will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills on a variety of instruments in the Performing Arts program, including ukulele, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums and percussion. As their confidence and musicianship grow, students will work towards playing songs together in a band setting, developing teamwork, listening skills and performance techniques.

Following their fantastic performance of Counting Stars, the HHPS School Band has been working hard on a brand-new song, which they look forward to performing for the school community in the coming weeks.
