Welcome back to Term 3!
We hope all of our students, staff and families enjoyed a well-deserved mid-year break. Whether you spent quality time with family and friends, enjoyed a few days away, or were lucky enough to head to the snow, I hope the holidays provided an opportunity to rest, recharge and create some special memories together.
As we begin a new term, we do so following a highly successful Semester 1, filled with outstanding learning and collective achievement. I would like to congratulate our students on the commitment they have shown to their learning and the positive way they continue to engage in every aspect of school life. It has been wonderful to see friendships continue to flourish and our classrooms and playgrounds filled with happy, connected students who genuinely enjoy coming to Harvest Home P.S. each day.
This term, we will continue to embrace our school principle of Kaizen—the belief that a "little bit of improvement each day" lead to significant growth over time. Whether it is making progress in learning, building stronger friendships, developing resilience or trying something new, we encourage every student to strive to be just a little better than they were yesterday.
Term 3 promises to be another exciting and rewarding one, with many opportunities for students to learn, connect and celebrate together. I look forward to sharing the many successes and memorable moments that lie ahead as we continue working in partnership with our wonderful school community.

Pride of Place
A friendly reminder: school connection and school pride are important factors to support the collective responsibility of our school community. As we head into the winter season, we appreciate your support in helping your child wear the correct school colours as part of the school uniform. We extend our appreciation to students and families who wear the Harvest Home uniform and colours with pride.

100 days of School - Congratulations to our Prep students
Today, our Prep classrooms were alive with energy, laughter and plenty of smiles as we marked this exciting milestone. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate just how far our youngest students have come since beginning their school journey earlier this year.
From dressing as 100-year-olds or 100 days brighter to participating in a range of engaging maths, literacy, art and problem-solving activities, the day was filled with creativity, curiosity and fun. A sincere thank you to our outstanding Prep teachers and education support staff, whose enthusiasm, planning and creativity made the day so memorable. We also extend our appreciation to our Prep families for joining in the celebrations and helping make the occasion even more special.
Most importantly, congratulations to our wonderful Prep students. In just 100 school days, you have developed new skills, built lasting friendships and grown in confidence, independence and resilience. We are so proud of all that you have accomplished and look forward to seeing everything you will continue to achieve throughout the remainder of the year.
Days like these remind us why primary school is such a special time—filled with learning, laughter, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Semester 2 - here we come...
As always, thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in making Harvest Home Primary School such a positive, inclusive and thriving community. Together, we continue to create an environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow and achieve their very best. I look forward to sharing another exciting and successful term with you all.
Kind Regards
