FOUNDATION 2026

We have loved the opportunity to meet our 2026 Foundation students and learn more about them through our recent transition sessions. On Wednesday, it was wonderful to see their smiles and enthusiasm as they played, made new friends, enjoyed listening to The Dot, and then decorated their own names with dots. Such an exciting time!

We are excited to welcome the children back for our final transition session, our ‘Move-Up’ Morning, which will take place on Tuesday, 9th December. Children are asked to arrive at the Prep classrooms at 9:15am. During the session, they will enjoy classroom activities, meet their Year 6 buddies, and have time to play in the playground. Please send your child in casual clothes, with a fruit snack and a water bottle. Pick-up will be at 10:45am from the junior playground.

We would also love to invite families to join us for our final Prep Prayer Gathering on Friday, 5th December. Our theme is ‘Peace’, connected to our learning about Advent. 

This is a beautiful opportunity to experience our school’s faith life and gain a glimpse of what the children will be part of next year. There is absolutely no pressure to attend — it is simply a warm invitation. The gathering will begin at 9:00am at St Mary’s Church and go for around 20 minutes. We kindly ask families to fill the back rows first.

A reminder that in your envelope you received at the transition meeting, there was a QR code for Class Dojo. Please join this now, as we have started posting messages in this.
