Netball 

On Wednesday 6th March, a number of students from years 7-9 attended the Armidale Diocesan U15 Girls Netball Trials, held in Armidale. The progression for selection would take students to the next level, representing the Armidale Diocese at the 2024 NSWCCC selection trials in Sydney during May.

The girls showed up to the courts enthusiastic and positive about the day ahead which showed in their performances on the court. Teams all worked extremely well together, encouraging one another throughout the day. Although there was strong competition and an even stronger UV index, the girls put their best foot forward and represented our College with pride. A huge thank you to Paige Patterson, Mackenzie Gash, Salon Paul, Bronte Swain and Sophie Carsen for their help with managing the three OCC teams and umpiring a number of games on the day. 

Congratulations to Marissa Suluma and Jessica Newsome for their successful selection to the Armidale Diocesan squad and we wish you all the best for your upcoming travels to Sydney.
