Week 9, one to go!
Last week the 3-6s expored the city on their camp. We toured the MCG, sped up the elevator to the top of the Eureka Skydeck, ran around an arcade findig all sorts of games and finished with some ten pin bowling. Overnight we slept at ScienceWorks and had the place to ourselves. Sleeping just outside the planetarium (under the big moon for those that are familiar with it), we were treated to all exhibitions and a private planetarium show. While the sleep we all got was minimal, the smiles made it worthwhile. Everyone who went did an incredible job, I was super proud of how they represented our school and challenged themselves (especially those 5/6s doing the edge experience 88 floors above Melbourne CBD).
Swimming week this week has been a big one. While there are some very tired people, their organisation with their belongings overall has been quite impressive. One pair of socks found so far across the entire week isn't a bad effort at all!
We hosted Fathers Day breaky on Monday, it was nice to see so many Dads come down and play some games with our students. Hope you enjoyed your croissants and coffee!
Next week the toilet upgrades begin - woohoo!!!!!!
The F-2s also go exploring the zoo on their excursion. Aaaaaaand the Grade 6s have their fun day out. Plenty happening to finish the term.
COMMUNITY STORY TIME
Community Story Time is back on again this term on Tuesdays. As we don't have a local library in our community, this is an opportunity to bring any children in the area, to listen to a story and complete a fun activity. We hope you can make it!

PARENT OPINION SURVEY
The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is open for you to complete. This is a valuable tool for us to monitor community feedback and look for areas of improvement across our school. We encourage all families to complete it, please help us by providing your valuable insight. Please look on Compass for login instructions and information on how to complete the survey.
That's all from me, have a look around this edition for more photos and updates!
