CEPS 70th Year Carnival

Help Make Our 70th Year Carnival a Success
This year, our school will proudly celebrate its 70th anniversary with a special community carnival. This significant milestone is a wonderful opportunity to bring together current and past students, families, staff and members of the wider community.
An event of this size can only succeed with the support of our school community. We anticipate needing upwards of 80 parents, carers or grandparents to volunteer some time.
There are lots of different ways to get involved, including:
Food & Treats – BBQ, hot dogs, bake stall, ice creams, fairy floss, popcorn and snow cones
Activities & Stalls – tattoos, bracelet making, crazy hair, nail designs and lucky dip
Games – ring toss, mini basketball, Lucky Ducks, Lob a Choc, Tic Tac Throw, Knock ’Em Down and more
Other Roles – payment tent and helping with the talent stage
Whether you can help for an afternoon or evening shift, every volunteer makes a big difference.
One of our amazing Parents Committee members and School Councillors, Nikki Glenister, has created a volunteer sign-up sheet below

We encourage every family to support the carnival in some way. This may be by volunteering time, assisting with planning or activities, donating goods or services, helping with setup or packing up, or contributing in another way that suits your family. Every contribution, no matter how large or small, will make a meaningful difference.
While the carnival is an opportunity for the wider community to come together and celebrate, the proceeds will directly benefit every student at our school. The more support we receive, the bigger and better the event can be and the more funds we can raise for important school upgrades and improvements.
Our school has been shaped by generations of families and community members over the past 70 years. We now invite every family to help us celebrate this history, support our current students and contribute to the school’s future.
Together, we can make our 70th anniversary carnival a memorable and successful event for our entire community.
🎢 Exclusive Ride Time for CEPS Students
Before the carnival opens to the wider community, CEPS students will have exclusive access to the rides from 2:00pm–3:15pm. This will give our students a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the rides together before the main carnival gets underway!
🎟️ Unlimited Ride Wristbands
Wristbands providing unlimited access to the rides will go on sale later this term.
Keep an eye out for further communication with details about wristband sales and the carnival. There will be rides suitable for all age groups.
