A Message from the
Acting Principal
Mr Steven Belcastro
God of mercy and grace,
As I enter this sacred season of Lent,
I come before You with a humble heart.
Search me and reveal the ways I have turned from You.
In Your kindness, lead me to true repentance,
that I may return to You with sincerity and love.
As ashes mark my forehead,
let them remind me of my need for Your forgiveness
and the hope found in Christ.
Strengthen me to walk this Lenten journey with a heart open to Your refining work.
Amen.
Dear Parents,
This week we began the season of Lent. Yesterday, Year 3 to 6 went to Mass for Ash Wednesday, while Kindergarten to Year 2 participated in a prayer service where they received their ashes. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. During Lent we have the opportunity to Pray, Fast and Give. Lent is all about love. God so loved the world he sent His only Son. Jesus loves us so much He gave his life for us. During Lent we are called to show our love for others and for God. Increasing our prayertime, giving up something and helping others creates opportunities for our faith and love for God to grow.

This term we will launch our new Mission, Vision and Values, work that began at the end of 2024 under the leadership of Mrs Carolyn Parsell.

Congratulations to Mrs Setrida Samia (2 Gold) and her husband Sam on the exciting news that they are expecting their first baby.
On Monday 23rd February we will hold our first general P&F Meeting for 2026. We will gather in the Parish Hall at 8:30am to catch up on upcoming events and hear about plans for 2026. All are welcome to come along.
We are welcoming prospective parents to St Martha's on Thursday 5th March. We look forward to sharing the wonderful learning and faith of the St Martha's community.
Please spread the word that Open Day is on. We will have some special visitors on the day with a petting zoo for our Kindy students and the visiting preschoolers. A coffee van will be on site for our visiting parents. Our Year 6 school leaders will be leading tours of the classrooms. If you know anyone who is looking for a school for 2027, please let them know they would be most welcome.
