A SMALL POOL TABLE & THREE TABLE-TENNIS TABLES ARE LOOKING FOR NEW HOMES
The Men’s Club have a 6ft x 3ft Pool Table and 3 Table Tennis tables which are nolonger required by the club. If you would like to have a look at any of these, please contact Peter Fisher on 0438 249 689 or Ron Bade on 0400 158 645.
Items are free, but you might like to consider a small donation to a charity e.g. Caritas or St Vincent de Paul.
Avila College Applications
- Application period open now – families can submit Year 7 2028 applications online via the College website.
- 🗓 Friday 14 August 2026 – Applications close. All forms must be lodged by this date (including required supporting documents and application fee).
- 🗓 August–September 2026 – Admission interviews are scheduled for applicants (dates/times to be confirmed). This interview is part of the process and gives your child the chance to ask questions and meet College staff.
- 📬 Friday 16 October 2026 – Offers of placement are released to families.
- 📅 Friday 6 November 2026 – Final acceptance deadline — the last day parents/carers can accept an offer and return signed forms with the enrolment fee and debenture deposit.

Avila College offers several ways for families to visit and learn about the campus before applying:
Types of Tours
- Principal Presentation & Student-Led Tour – a formal session where you hear from the Principal and student ambassadors and tour key facilities.
- Small Discovery Campus Tours – more personalised, small-group tours with staff where you can ask questions and see school life in action.
- Twilight or After-Hours Tours – relaxed sessions in the evening (dates announced by the College).
- Special Event Tours – such as specific guided tours scheduled on dates like 20 February 2026 and 17 March 2026 (check registration) – these give a good feel for the school environment. (Catholic Schools Guide)
📝 Registering for Tours
Tours and Open Mornings typically require registration via the College website or contacting the Admissions Coordinator. Dates for 2026/early 2027 are published on the site and updated regularly.
Visiting workshops, open days, or an online prospectus can also help families understand the curriculum, school culture, facilities and community before applying.
Mazenod College Applications
Our Open Day is Wednesday 4th March 2026 1.45 – 6.00pm. Bookings are required via Mazenod College website. College Tours
Enrolments for Year 7 2028 (Grade 5 in 2026) close on Friday 14th August 2026.
I would like to visit your primary school next Wednesday 11th or Thursday 12th February to deliver our new Prospectus and Postcards to your Grade 4 & 5 students. I will also remove any old Prospectus and Enrolment forms from your front office. Please advise if this would be suitable.
