Tools to support young children and their families

Our recent report explores the online experiences of young children aged 3 to 10 through the perspectives of parents and carers. The report highlights the opportunities and challenges families face as they navigate the digital world.

Educators play an important role in supporting families to build safe and positive online habits. Consider sharing our free resources with parents and carers:

Online safety guide: Brand-new and packed with practical advice for supporting children's online safety and wellbeing.
Family tech agreements: Help families set clear expectations around technology use. There are downloadable agreements for different age groups available.
Conversation starters: Support meaningful discussions about online experiences and safety.
Online safety basics: Strategies for parents and carers to help children navigate the online world safely by taking simple steps to reduce risks.

Together, schools and families can help children develop the skills they need to thrive online.
