Hello Roxburgh Homestead Community,

Teacher Strike - Industrial Action Update on 24/03

Please keep an eye on Compass for ongoing communication regarding the teacher strike on Tuesday the 24/3. This is an evolving situation, and I will continue to provide updates about school operations as more information is provided to me.

Harmony Week Celebrations:

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating in Harmony Week. Whether it was the Iftar Dinner on Monday, the Harmony Day Assembly on Thursday or the competitions and learning about different cultures throughout the week, children all had opportunities to share their culture and learn about those around them. I particularly enjoyed sampling some delicious food on Monday and seeing some fantastic cultural wear that the children shared on Thursday.

Easter Hat Parade:

The special events don’t aren’t finished this term just yet! Keep an eye out for communications on Compass next week where we will share details for our special Easter Hat Parade Event. There is a bit of work happening behind the scenes for what is another of our special school traditions and I know some of our student leaders have had some ideas to make it even more special this year.
