Changes to Contact details.
It is important that contact details are kept up to date. If you have made any changes to address/phone numbers/emails/emergency details/contact people, please inform Kalene.
Spare Clothes
Please can you make sure that your child has a spare set of clothes in their bag because the grounds are getting muddy and wet. It does not have to be school uniform. This is for all the children at Ridgeview.
We do not have any spare clothes for children to borrow if they get muddy or wet.
Tissues and Plasters
If you are out shopping and notice a good bargain on tissues and plasters, please remember our school. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, especially with the winter season upon us. Please drop them off at the school office.
Absentees
You can text, email, phone or leave a phone message to inform the office that your child/ren will not be attending school on that day as well as telling us the reason why they will be away.
School Jumpers & Uniforms
With the days are getting colder, children need to bring or wear their school jumpers. If they do not have one, a jumper can be purchased from Kalene in the office for $50.00
If your child/ren can not wear any part of their school uniform and needs to wear something different, a note or message from home is required.
Playing on school grounds after school
If your child wants to play at school before 4.15pm and is not in after-school care, then they will need a parent to accompany them.
Out of School Care
Make sure that you book your child into Before and After School Care by either emailing office@ridgeview.school.nz or phoning the school on 027 593 5963. If your child/ren is booked in but not attending a session, contact the school so changes can be made.
In Before School Care if your child is not attending the session and you do not contact the school, you will still be charged for the session.
Class Dojo
Class Dojo is an app that we use at school as one way to connect with families. Teacher use the app to send up to day info on activities their class is doing. We share information and updates. If you don't have it please let your child's teacher know so they can add you to the list.
