Farewell and Thank You to Faithful Servants on our Board
This term we farewell three remarkable women from our Board, including our Chair, Ange Smith and Vice Chair, Greta Dench and Christine Earnest, who have faithfully served our college community over many years. Each has given generously of her time, wisdom, and heart to help nurture and guide this school we hold so dear.
As a parent-governed college, Plenty Valley Christian College was founded by families committed to providing a Christ-centred education grounded in a biblical worldview. Strong and faithful leadership has always been key to this college's foundation. These women have upheld that vision with integrity and grace, ensuring that our college remains a place where children are taught in partnership with the values shared at home.
In this season of change, they have also played an invaluable role in welcoming and supporting our new Executive Principal Natasha Mackinnon. Their dedication to a smooth and thoughtful transition has been a great blessing, and we are grateful for the unity and care shown during this time.
We extend our heartfelt thanks for their faithful service and leadership. We pray God’s richest blessings upon each of them as they step into their next chapter, trusting His guidance and provision in all that lies ahead.

Upcoming nightworks on Yan Yean Road
Overnight road closures and other changed traffic conditions will be in place on Yan Yean Road from Sunday 14 June to Friday 10 July.
Yan Yean Road will be closed in both directions between Kurrak Road and Bridge Inn Road Sundays to Thursdays from 9pm to 5am each night, with occasional works on Fridays and Saturdays as required. Detours in place via Kurrak Road, Plenty Road, and Bridge Inn Road with delays of up to 20 minutes expected. Short traffic holds will also be in place on sections of Yan Yean Road from 7pm to 9pm each night and 5am to 6am each morning during works.
Residents living on Yan Yean Road or on side streets access from Yan Yean Road will still be able to access their home, with different local detours in place depending on where you live. Please follow all detour signage and instructions from traffic controllers stationed on the road.

Enrolments for 2028
Families needing to apply for a child commencing in 2028 are reminded to submit an application by 31 July 2026 via the College website to avoid missing out on a place.
No application is required if your child is already attending, has already applied, or has accepted a place.
Current primary students (including Year 6) do not need to apply for Year 7, and children at Plenty Kids Early Learning Centre do not need to apply for Prep.
