End of year celebrations - Year 12 Graduation

What a fantastic end to the year!

Year 12 Graduation on Friday 5th December was held at the STEM Centre of Excellence (SCOE) at the University of Melbourne. This is the third year we have held the grad at this wonderful venue, which caps off a great year of activities that many of our students have participated in at SCOE.

The students received their VCE certificates from Dr David Howes, the Deputy Secretary of Education. Other VIPs included Mr Peter Khalil, our local member, Mr Katia Singh-Freeman from the ADF who presented the Long Tan award, and the coordinator of the MNEP Education plan for the north, Ms Rebecca Gray.

Our 2025 captains, Adam and Jhoanna, opened the ceremony with a final speech and a handover to the incoming captains for 2026, Yomin Rajapakshe and Will Tran Vu. Yomin and Will then hosted the rest of the ceremony, and we look forward to working with them in their new roles next year.

It was lovely to see so many families attending to congratulate their children and again, I extend our thanks and gratitude to families for your care and support over the years.
