This term, students are exploring the structure and features of information texts. They have begun composing their own information reports using a structured template to support their writing.

In Mathematics, students have been learning about 3D objects. They have examined key features, including faces, corners, and edges. As part of this unit, students were challenged to build the tallest tower possible using 3D objects.

En français, les élèves apprennent les différents moyens de transport à travers une histoire qui s’appelle « Comment y aller ». Il s’agit d’un support sur lequel ils travailleront tout au long du trimestre afin de gagner en fluidité et de mieux comprendre le nouveau vocabulaire.

À l’écrit, ils ont écrit des phrases simples sur la façon dont ils vont à l’école, afin de faire le lien avec l’histoire « Comment y aller ».

Les enfants ont aussi commencé à explorer l’histoire de Fitzroy et à comparer comment ce quartier était autrefois par rapport à aujourd’hui.
